First, the good!:

Rare 30th Anniversary Gold Top Les Paul with *rare* gold back! (yes, they made a few -how many? Not clear). Checking nicely on the rear, just starting to check on the top! This was originally listed as a 1984 due to serial number, as these came with A,B,C prefixes - these were all technically 1982 30th anniversaries though production extended thru 1984.

Body is very resonant and appears to have a 1 piece mahogany neck- guitar feels great too!

2nd, the not as good!:

Its original Tim Shaw humbuckers have been replaced with Bare Knuckles with coil taps added - 2 push pull pots- the other 2 pots read the 49th week of 1980 (1378049).

Gold hardware likely added as well - modern gold strap lock buttons - one nice thing is they used double ring Kluson style tuners (Schaller) - there's mention of some being shipped with gold hardware, but it does not appear this one was.

• Its electronics have been tested and function 100% as they should. Note that its original pickups have been replaced.
• See the provided pix for best idea of overall cosmetic condition. As it is pre-owned, this instrument has acquired some scratches, scuffs, dings, dents, and the like. There are no issues to note with regard to functionality and playability.
• The pictured Gibson hard cases (2) will be included. No other extras are available for this item.
